1/4 -  1/9  Another few days at St Georges Caye In Belize

The pleasant island resort off the coast from Belize City has become our go to destination in this country. 

It's a fairly quick and easy flight either from Arizona or Colorado - taking about 6 hours total from those locations portal to portal.  The all inclusive resort is reasonably priced as are the round trip air fares. 

\We've locked into our preferred accommodation here in what's known as the "villa" and have found it much more comfortable than any of the island's cabanas or the over-the-water ones which are on the lagoon.

The latter are sited too near the resort's generator which runs night and day, and there's seldom a decent breeze on that side of the island to cool things off. 

The feeding operation which has had its ups and downs in the past is showing signs of life as the chef is finally not overcooking the meat, fish, chicken or vegetables.  The menu for breakfast has been the same for many years and is still enjoyable.  Lunch and dinners are a nice mixture of Caribbean, Mexican, and and standard American styles.

So what's not to like?  Very little as it turns out.  As we use the kayaks almost every day, the fact that they have decent pads and seatbacks make paddling longer distances far easier than where those accessories do not exist.  Here's a short, quick video of the trip:
